Our History

Expressions is an independent, unisex hair salon that aims to provide a relaxing, revitalising experience from the moment you walk through the door. We pride ourselves on our ability to provide high-quality services to all of our clients. Your hair is our reputation, you can feel confident you’re in the hands of trusted, experienced stylists, beauticians and barbers.

Located at 1 Moreton Avenue, B43 7QP, Expressions has been operating as a salon for over 50 years under different names, and has been under our current ownership since 2005. Expressions is a member of the National Hair & Beauty Federation, as well as being the only salon in Birmingham to offer Momoko Hair Shaping.

We pride ourselves on our ability to evolve with the ever-changing dynamic of hairdressing, and broadening the skill-set our salon offers, in order to cater to all budgets and requests. This is achieved by our approach of taking on not only our own staff at Expressions, but also working alongside numerous self-employed stylists; as they can offer their own pricings and services. This means there’s something for everyone- whether it be efficiency, relaxation or economical- it is always to a high degree of quality.
